Её штаб-квартира расположена в Нидерландах, но с 2019 года вся компания принадлежит китайской Wingtech Technology. Китай в ответ ввёл ограничения на экспорт продукции Nexperia. Поэтапно прекратились поставки кремниевых пластин с чипами Nexperia в Китай, а китайское предприятие перестало выдавать готовую продукцию на экспорт. Позже китайские власти ослабили контроль, и небольшие партии чипов начали отгружаться зарубежным клиентам. Министр экономики Нидерландов Винсент Карреманс (Vincent Karremans) вчера заявил, что отказ властей страны от влияния на деятельность Nexperia является жестом доброй воли, а переговоры с китайской стороной продолжаются. Он выразил признательность китайским властям за возможность возобновить поставки продукции Nexperia за пределы КНР. Еврокомиссия также приветствовала шаги, направленные на стабилизацию поставок чипов. Представители отрасли по производству автокомпонентов заявили, что исключать дальнейшее негативное влияние кризиса на выпуск автомобилей по-прежнему нельзя.
Руководство Nexperia подчеркнуло, что полное восстановление поставок требует дальнейшего активного сотрудничества с китайскими подразделениями компании. Запасов кремниевых пластин должно хватить на несколько месяцев.
