Такие передачи также хороши для горных прогулок и буксировки прицепов.
ASG – АВТОМАТИЗИРОВАННАЯ КОРОБКА ПЕРЕДАЧ
В чем отличие от описанной выше автоматической коробки передач? Это не что иное, как механическая коробка передач с дополнительным механизмом переключения передач, избавляющим от этого водителя. Эти коробки можно разделить на полуавтоматические, которые больше не используются и автоматические, гораздо более популярные.
Полуавтоматические трансмиссии отличались автоматическим срабатыванием сцепления, при этом водитель сам менял передачи, обычно нажимая на рычаг. Автоматические коробки передач полностью автоматические, как и АКПП, но также имеют возможность переключения передач.
Большим преимуществом таких трансмиссий является дешевая и достаточно простая конструкция. И возможность использования в небольшом автомобиле без создания дополнительной коробки передач (автоматизация МКПП). Для пользователя единственное преимущество – отсутствие потерь мощности при разгоне и разумный расход топлива по сравнению с механикой.
К сожалению, у этих коробок больше недостатков, чем преимуществ для пользователя. Прежде всего, низкий комфорт работы и большие потери при переключении передач (длительное время переключения), а также частый выход из строя механизмов. Что еще хуже, немногие механики хотят ремонтировать такую трансмиссию. Впрочем, если автомобиль будет ездить в основном по трассе, коробка ASG не так уж плоха.
CVT (CONTINUOUS VARIABLE TRANSMISSION) – Т.Е. БЕССТУПЕНЧАТАЯ ТРАНСМИССИЯ
CVT, часто называемые вариаторами (в Audi Miltitronic), являются даже не коробками передач, а бесступенчатыми трансмиссиями, потому что у них нет шестерен. Преимущества
У бесступенчатых коробок передач больше преимуществ, чем недостатков, хотя не всем они нравятся. Они безотказно работают в городе. В условиях, когда скорость постоянно меняется, но не слишком велика и когда не требуется динамическое ускорение в широком диапазоне, вариатор отлично подходит. При правильном использовании педали газа и понимании работы этой трансмиссии расход топлива может быть ниже, чем в вариантах с МКПП. Более того, вариаторы обычно очень быстро меняют режим вперед-назад.
К недостаткам, помимо вышеупомянутого завывания, можно отнести низкое сопротивление нагрузке. Эти коробки не любят долгих разгонов, высоких скоростей и трейлеров, а также горных прогулок. Также они не очень хорошо умеют работать с тяжелыми автомобилями и мощными двигателями. К тому же сервис немного сложный. Даже автомастерские, специализирующиеся на автоматах, иногда отказываются от ремонта вариаторов.

Новейший и на данный момент один из самых популярных видов редукторов, имеющий на практике только преимущества. Принцип работы, основанный на переключении сцепления, а не передачи, делает коробку передач с двойным сцеплением очень быстрой и передает мощность практически без потерь. Если вы любите динамичную и экономичную езду, тогда DCT идеально подойдет. К преимуществам также можно отнести высокий комфорт работы. Иногда более высокий, чем в трансмиссиях AT, потому что эти трансмиссии переключают передачи быстро и точно. Без затягивания и задержек, поэтому переключение передач не ощущается. Кроме того, они быстрее чем AT реагируют на кикдаун. К преимуществам также можно отнести высокую устойчивость к перегрузкам, но это касается не каждой конструкции.
Недостатков немного и они в основном связаны с долговечностью механизмов. Как правило, DCT служат дольше, чем, например, ASG, иногда дольше, чем CVT, без ремонта, но они могут быть дорогими. Сама услуга требует значительных затрат, потому что, в отличие, например, от ASG, здесь два сцепления, а не одно. Также часто используются двухмассовые маховики.
